of this bridge.
Royal Gorge Bridge, Fremont County, Colorado
However, this bridge is open for limited
vehicles only. Heavy trucks are not allowed to pass this bridge. The
pedestrians are mostly using this ancient bridge. This bridge is 1260 feet long
and 18 feet wide. Around $350,000 was spent in the construction of this bridge.
Ambassador Bridge 1929, Detroit, Michigan
The Ambassador Bridge is 7500 feet long and 1850 feet wide. The construction of
this bridge was started in 1927 and was opened for the public in 1929. The
total cost of Ambassador bridge’s construction is $23.5 million. After
construction, this was known as the longest suspension bridge across the world.

layout of seven-mile bridge was extremely simple. The seven-mile bridge is
10887.5 meters long and 11.58 meters wide. The construction duration of the old
seven-mile bridge was 1909-1912 and the new bridge was opened for traffic in
1982.

The length of this bridge is 1,184 feet. The Smithfield street bridge is
a National Historic Landmark as well.
